No one wants to wait for 20 minutes or more to copy a file. When you find that the copy progress bar like a crawling snail, you will be crazy, especially if you need to repeat this action every day. This is why I give up a USB flash drive with multiple ports and choose the faster Sandisk SDCZ880.
We cannot tell you which one is the fastest USB flash drive, because the read and write speed of the USB flash drive will increase with the advancement of technology. What we can do is keep track of the market and update the currently fastest and reliable USB flash drives.
In addition to speed, the quality and safety of USB drives are also very important for your data. So we highly recommend well-known branded products. The lifetime is very difficult to guarantee if you choose those unknown-brand products with low price and poor quality of the chipset and workmanship, even though they may have a cool design and perfect product images/description.

Sandisk usb 3.0 flash drive seems to be the best fastest one now.
Yes, it’s my choice
Sandisk Extreme PRO yes it’s fast. Sandisk Extreme Go, no it is not fast at all. Even extreme pro is slower than the Corsair Flash Voyager GTX but the GTX is very expensive for a flash drive.
Yes, there will be better options.
I just found this out myself but USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Gen 1 are the same thing. They’re both 5 gbps and was simply just renamed from 3.0 to 3.1 Gen 1. So technically 3.1 Gen 1 aren’t backwards compatible to 3.0 because they are 3.0. AND NOW USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 (10 gbps) has been renamed again to USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 is USB 3.2 Gen 2 and the new 20 gbps will be called USB 3.2 Gen 2×2. Doesn’t make any sense.
We will timely update the better choices including USB 3.2 flash drive.
